I saw Big Daddy a while back and this one was on the suggested list of Adam Sander movies, so I figured I'd give it a try. I think this may have been one of those movies that enjoyed a brief visit in the movie theater then was whisked out to video soon after. I give it one slice of pie for the acting and plot and I give it two slices just for the soundtrack!  If you are an old boy like me who grew up in the 80's you will enjoy the soundtrack. It took me awhile to realize that the movie was supposed to take place in the 80s (I guess I should have figured that out sooner by the goofy haircuts) but I'm a little slow I guess!

Adam Sander plays a guy who has a crappy job as a wedding singer in a band (with a guy who looks slightly like Boy George who can only sing "Do you want to hurt me" as his only song). Sandler's girlfriend bails out on their wedding and he falls for Drew Barrymore, who is some kind of wedding assistant (I don't know what the proper name is!). They go back and forth in the typical romantic comedy way until Sandler chases her to Vegas, where she is going to get married to a loser, and meets her on the plane along with Billy Idol (who plays himself)! Billy is sure looking kind of old now, and kind of scary. OK, enough of a review for this one...
