Sort of the typical "old cop about to retire in a week who was teamed up with the rookie cop who just moved into the big city" movie. Morgan Freeman was the old guy, who seemed to be pretty wise and calm most of the time, while Brad Pitt was the very excitable young punk cop. Morgan was always trying to calm the younger guy down all the time and tell him not to act on his feelings... blah blah... "The Force is strong with this one..."

Kind of an interesting theme of the murders with the killer acting out the Seven Deadly Sins. Of course the old wise cop figured that out, while young rookie would rather run around shooting evil. The ending was kind of a surprise, which was good. Overall a pretty good cop movie, but nothing new that hasn't been seen before.
