I don't know why I watched this entire movie, but I
did. Maybe I thought there would be something funny in
it someplace? I was wrong. If I could rate this less
than one pie slice I would, but I don't think
Webmistress Linda has any graphics that go lower than a
slice!
I guess I should review it, so here it goes.... The movie is about these two roommates (they are known as "The Twins" since there are two of them) that wake up one morning and find that their girlfriend's house is completely trashed from a party that they had there. These losers were so stoned and drunk that they don't remember anything about the night before and find that "Dude" has misplaced his car and has no idea where it might be. Oh, there is also a couple brief appearances from a third roommate that comes out of the closet in the morning, pisses in the plants, and goes back into the closet. If that was funny, I missed something. The dudes continue looking for the car and meet up with aliens, nerds wearing bubble wrap jackets, and "hot chicks with large breasts" who are looking for something that the aliens and gay nordic aliens are also looking for. Basically that is the entire plot. Sheesh! Why have I even wasted two paragraphs on this waste of time? I find it unfortunate that the plastic used to make this DVD was spoiled on this crap. Just think of all the out-of-print movies that could have been re-released on this disk instead (Wallace and Gromit is an out-of-print DVD I have been looking for that comes to mind!). If you come across the Dude DVD, use it as a coaster for your cuppa coffee, use it as a carpet protector under the leg of your couch, add it to your collection of AOL CD Roms, sharpen it and cut pizza with it, but please, PLEASE don't do what I did and put it into your DVD player and watch it!! Don't say I never warned you.... |
