The spy spoof OSS 117: Cairo - Nest of Spies beats Austin Powers at his own game. What Happens in Vegas... should maybe have stayed in Vegas. Robert Downey, Jr. rocks Iron Man, making it a much more enjoyable movie than it should be. The comic skills of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are wasted in Baby Mama. The Life Before Her Eyes is extremely well-acted by its lead women, and it is extremely sad. Team Apatow churns out another sympathetic shlub comedy with Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Poor Al Pacino only has 88 Minutes to solve a mystery, and that feels about 88 minutes too long. Dennis Quaid, Ellen Page, and Thomas Haden Church may be Smart People, but they sure are dysfunctional. Mick and Keith rock years off their age in Martin Scorsese's Rolling Stones concert movie Shine A Light. Kevin Spacey teaches a bunch of smarty-pants college kids how to beat Vegas blackjack in 21. The sweet, simple mother/son story Under the Same Moon is worth seeking out in limited release. Who'll like Horton Hears a Who? Check out many more reviews of what's Currently in Theaters.

Gerard Butler may be dead, but he can't help but heckle his wife Hilary Swank in P.S. I Love You. Spawn of Satan, or just an annoying kid? Joshua can't decide. Yes, Cate Blanchett is one of the Bob Dylans in the odd I'm Not There. Gay and straight folks explore creative ways to get pregnant in Tick Tock Lullaby. August Rush is a wretched movie disguised to make you feel good. Ice Cube tackles another day of the week with First Sunday. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is a strange, gorgeous rumination on what it means to be truly alive. Katherine Heigl is pissed that she has to wear 27 Dresses. Trying to be the next great fantasy series, The Golden Compass ends up stumbling. Harry Potter goes to war in the affecting WWI drama My Boy Jack. Despite the show having already peaked, The Waltons - The Complete Seventh Season is still comfy like an old worn pair of shoes. Disney unearths more rare (and odd) films with their Classic Caballeros Collection: Saludos Amigos / Three Caballeros. Cloverfield and its sea nectar conspiracy come to DVD. The Pied Piper of Hützovina is almost as much about the filmmaker's crush as it is about her subject, gypsy-punk singer Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello. The environment is screwed, and Leonardo DiCaprio tells us what we can do to help in The 11th Hour. Andie MacDowell and Olivia Williams try to make their miserable lives less miserable in the drama Tara Road. America loves its pregnant-teen sweetheart Juno. As always, there's lots more in the Video/DVD section.
