Sometimes the crap that is admitted into film festivals in the name snagging a "World Premiere" is astonishing. I can only hope that this film was so new that the screening committee didn't get to see it in advance. Otherwise there is really no excuse.

And it's too bad. Angus MacFadyen is a hottie who made my eyes sweat as Robert the Bruce in Braveheart (he put Mel to shame, in my book). So finally a movie plays up his manly good looks, and make him into a completely unappealing asshole.

Angus plays Houston Blackett (what a name), who is a sexist stud who runs a men's Neanderthal magazine called A Man's World (get it?). His estranged mother dies, and he goes to clean up the estate and take what's his. Except it turns out that the power of estate was left to his mom's lesbian lover (gasp!) that happens to be Houston's ex-girlfriend from years before (double gasp!!). Will Angus and Penelope Ann Miller (the girlfriend) get together? Will she see that he's an asshole and will have to change a lot to be worth it (not to mention HER changing... ahem!). Will I care? No.
