We're spent! Once again, the Seattle International Film Festival blew into town, teasing us with a monster schedule of over 250 movies, and only 3 1/2 weeks to see them? What is a movie fan to do? Well, see as many as humanly possible, only to find out that, once again, you just happened to skip the film that ended up winning the Golden Space Needle audience award (this year's winner: Finder's Fee directed by Jeff Probst, the host of TV's "Survivor", fer cryin' out loud!).
But we did the best we could, and so here we offer our insights on the flicks we saw, categorized by genre. So, watch for them in the theaters (or not!). Happy movie-going!
Recommended! A red arrow means that we rated the movie six (out of eight) slices or better.
