CrazyLife in a boarding school can be quite a difficult experience for anyone, but for Benni it's a little bit different. You see, Benni (Robert Stadlober) is partially paralyzed on he left side, leaving it a challenge to do most activities that a 16-year-old boy would be doing. Pretty quickly, Benni proves himself to be just like everyone else and develops friendships and even a crush on one of the girls at school. We soon find out that the most challenging thing in Benni's life isn't his physical condition but rather math.

Crazy is based on Benjamin Lebert's fictionalized tale of his boarding school days and was even filmed at the same school portrayed in the story. The performances given by both Robert Stadlober and Tom Schilling (Benni's roommate, Janosch) were quite real and garnered them both Best Young Actor awards at the Bavarian Film Awards, which were well deserved. Go see it, you will enjoy it!
