Five favorite films:
Imagine Me & You
Meatballs
Quick Change
Rudy
Serendipity
Guilty pleasures:
the entire Martin Lawrence oeuvre
Drop Dead Fred
Amanda Peet (not so guilty, just a pleasure)
Two random movies that I’ve probably seen over 30 times:
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
You’ve Got Mail
If I could be an extra in any scene in any movie it would be:
One of the campers in the “gossip! gossip! we want gossip!” dining-hall scene in Meatballs. Given my age at the time, and the film’s shooting location, it coulda happened.

Favorite films:
Heavenly Creatures
Gone With the Wind
Wings of Desire
A Room With A View
All About My Mother
Guilty pleasures:
The Air Bud movies and any Disney movie with dogs or other critters
Showgirls
Two random movies that I've probably seen over 30 times:
Purple Rain
Sixteen Candles
TV on DVD that I love love love!
Battlestar Galactica (and I'm NOT talkin' 'bout the 1970s version!)
Sex and the City
Freaks and Geeks
Pride and Prejudice (1995 BBC version, of course!)
If I could be an extra in any movie, in any scene, it would be:
In Brazil there is a young woman whom Sam's mother is trying to set him up with. She is awkward and wears extremely unfortunate headgear. I believe she only gets one line in the film: She, Sam (Jonathan Pryce), and their mothers are eating at a restaurant, and the poor girl abruptly picks up a salt shaker, haltingly asking Sam, "S...s...salt...SALT?" Her mother dismissively says, "Not now, honey," and everyone at the table looks embarrassed and uncomfortable.
Favorite movie quote:
"All the best people have bad chests and bone diseases. It's all frightfully romantic!"
- from Heavenly Creatures

Favorite films:
The Goonies
Stand By Me
Lethal Weapon
Romancing The Stone
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
Scarface
The entire John Hughes collection from 1982-1992
If I could be an extra in any movie, in any scene, it would be:
The late wife of Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) in Lethal Weapon. She only appears in a photograph, but he cries heartbreakingly and contemplates suicide over losing her.
Movie line to live by:
"I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that."
-John Cusack as Lloyd Dobbler in Say Anything
